REGISTRATION FEES

The registration will open on February 8 and will close on May 29

All registration fees above contains:
 

  • Admission to all scientific sessions

  • Congress Book of Program and Abstracts (online)

  • Welcome drinks and refreshments  (June 3)

  • Lunch June 4

  • Coffee breaks on congress days (June 3-5)

Social Event Package

Participants may supplement their registration fee with the Social Event Package. This includes a guided tour of the Rome Botanical Garden and a buffet reception.

Schedule: Thursday, June 4th, at 6:00 PM.

Late abstracts may be considered under specific conditions, but not later than May 1, following the instructions below.

SCOLARSHIPS

There are 10 scholarships of €100 available to cover the registration fee for the first ten PhD or Master’s students who apply. Applicants must submit an abstract as first author and be prepared to deliver an oral presentation of their results. To ensure fair distribution among the research groups participating in WPD, during the initial allocation phase one scholarship will be assigned per group (based on affiliation: department–university). Any remaining scholarships will then be awarded using the same criterion, according to the order in which applications are received.

 

How to Apply

To request a scholarship, PhD or Master’s students must send their application to worldpetunia2026@gmail.com by March 20, 2026. 

Please include the following subject line: “2026 WPD – Scholarship Request”

In the body of the email, applicants should provide:

 

  • the title and authors of the abstract they intend to present

  • a clear statement confirming their status as a Master’s or PhD student

 

The abstract must be attached to the email.

Selected candidates will be notified by e‑mail immediately after the deadline and should complete their registration at the further reduced fee of €180 before March 31, using the coupon code included in the e‑mail.
